    Anyeong!

Will be looking forward to the sun in the London

I will be going to London this week for 5 day with HJ and BH.
Looking forward to watching Wicked and just taking in some sights.
    Will be away from 21 - 25th.
Coming back to a goodbye party held by the TESOL team - 28th.

    Halfway there!

I went to the optician to do a check up on my eyesight. Have been squinting at signboards in my glasses so i kinda have this uneasy feeling that my eyesight is undergoing some stress.
And ‘aye‘ for confirmation. Left slight increase of 0.5 whereas the right a major increase of 1.25.
So did order a new pair of glasses.
    *sigh*
Age is slowly creeping up on me.

    of pooches and dogs

Me and Ruth go walking every other day.
The other day, we played croquet.
It was the only day in the year where it was opened to public.
We talked about pooches, weather, flowers and just walked.
    Going walking again today!
Wonder what things that i might come across.

    d'MAC-gitized

    I have been d’Mac-gitized.

    Chocolate Bunnies and Runny Yolk

Easter break was two thumbs up.
    Yeen came up from London.
She came of Friday - hung out at three pubs and had dinner at the Malaysian restaurant. Maria came as well.
Then we went home and chatted interspersed with coughs and sniffles.
Saturday - I worked for the better part of the morning while Yeen snooze away. She hadn’t got her caffeine fix and she was supportive in allowing me to finish a big chunk of my assignment.
We went with the Richmond 7th floor mates - Chris, Steven, Thomas, & Sze Chern.
And bless the weather it was a superb sunny day. We decided to hit West Princes Street Garden to watch an Easter play.
We took part in an interactive Easter play - the last supper and of course the crucification and the resurrection of Christ.
The play took us to different parts of the park to see key moments leading to Christ’s crucification and his resurrection. The best part was climbing up the “poo” side of the castle.

Then me and yeen made a pitstop at the Elephant House. A must-do kononnya because already in Edinburgh.
Then we had dinner with the crazy and fun loving 7th floor mates - watched Britian’s Got Talent - and of course saw the currently famous Susan Boyle. There was a witch who got booted out of the show and cursed the judges. Amanda even did the cross with her fingers to supposedly ward it off. Hilarious moment. A family, Good Evans (sounded like good heavens), sang and cancelled the witch’s curse.

Britain's Got Talent is a reality show to find the next act worthy of performing in front of the Queen. Last week was bizarre, someone trying to burn off his family jewels, a drag queen doing a naval act, a parrot who was suppose to imitate his owner, a darth vader michael jackson wannabe - but of course the best act goes to the saxophonist and this young kid - 8 years old - from Cardiff.

Sunday - we went of a free tour around Edinburgh. I like it! It’s run by New Europe and have different free tours around Europe. Check out their website. Their policy is that there is no need to pay money to view the sights as it should be shared to all!

I saw John Knox graveyard which has been converted into a carpark. His graveyard is still there marked by a metal plate on the ground. Learned that Edinburgh Uni graduates would be doffed on the head with a piece of John Knox’s trousers which has gone into space. Had the shivers entering Greyfairs Kirk - a violent spirit resides in that graveyard, his tomb has been sealed off to prevent further unexplainable incidents. Heard the story of how 4 patriotic Glasgow Uni students drove all the way down to Westminster to take back the Stone of Destiny and accidentally broke it in half. This Stone weighs 152 kgs or 336 lbs. Not an easy feat to glue it back to one piece.

In the evening, we took a walk around Arthur Seat and headed to Edinburgh oldest inn - the sheep heid inn. Had bbq sausages, 2 ciders, one stout and 2 hot chocolate and saw perhaps the world’s oldest bowling alley.

Yeen had to leave on Monday but it wouldn’t be complete without a little shopping on Princes Street and people watching during lunch. It was interesting to see how people react to different situations and the language used to denote vexation and unhappiness towards the service.

the train took Yeen back to london whereas I had to catch up on the rest of my assignment.

    3rd step

    I have completed my diploma.
Now heading to get my degree.
    It’s dissertation period.

    Ahjuuma/obasan

    An aunt all over again.

My sister-in-law safely delivered a healthy baby boy today.

Am happy for the new dad and mum.

Hmmm…when is my eldest sister’s turn?

    Pulse racing

For the past two Sundays have been getting up early to catch the F1 action.

Saw Sepang thru the BBC and yes I missed the thunderstorms. Amazing lightning and thunder action.

Onwards to Shanghai! Ferrari is looking real bad at the moment. 2 thumbs up for BGP. 2 thumbs up and 2 big toes up for JB who drove superbly in Sepang.

Today watched House (S5E20). And it was a real twist. There was no indication whatsoever about someone’s death. Looking forward to the next 6 episodes. Something about House having a major breakdown and CTB having a cameo appearance.

Fringe is returning tomorrow. FINALLY after an intense wait on “of being a part of the pattern”. What is the pattern?

UB is getting to be a bit of a bore.

I wonder if there are any series worth watching.

Teehee...something to keep mind warm down after the huge bulk of reading.

Parallel to warming down after intense running.

And my hard disc is running out of space. *sigh*

    April 03

Trying to get creative juices flowing!

While trying to get ideas – I decided to type the beginning sentence of each song playing in WMP. Time wasting or Creative soul? Neither – just plain insane!

I feel it in my fingers I feel it in my soul

It’s amazing how you can speak right to my heart

Once in your life you find her

Enter by surprise, I didn’t realize

You packed in the morning, I stared out the window

I see the bad moon arising

Aruba Jamaica Ooo I want to take her

When the night has come and the land is dark

When the tough gets going, the going gets tough

    Oh my love, my darling

I am a real wild woman

How could I just let you walk away

    Who knows what tomorrow brings

    Knew the signs weren’t right

    Oh yeah

Dig if YOU will the picture

Just a steel town girl on a Saturday night

I never seen you looking so lovely as tonight

First, when there's nothing but a slow glowing dream

I have been cheated by you

Caroline laughs and it’s raining all day

    I feel good I know I would

    You better think

You never close your eyes anymore when I kiss your lips.

Turn aroundIt’s a long road when you’re on your own!
